Denise Wasmer M.S Ed, C.Ht

Denise Wasmer is a Mental Health Counselor and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, with 10 years experience working in both the Psychological and Educational field. Denise has worked as an Early Intervention Specialist for the University of Miami and a Special Needs Consultant for the Early Learning Coalition. It was here that she honed her skills in Developmental Education and Therapy using a series of Interventions including Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy. Ms.Wasmer has also worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor and Primary Therapy with adolescents and adults. Most recently, Denise has been known to be called the "Stop Smoking" & "Weight Loss" Guru with the use of Hypnosis. Along with her broad range of specialties, Denise is also trained in Intuitive Counseling creating an approach that’s both unique and holistic. Laurie earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Active member of the AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy) and specializes in working with individuals, couples, children and families.
